Ganesh (SOLD)

Ganesha, or Ganesh, is the elephant headed god of new beginnings. He is traditionally worshipped at the undertaking of new enterprises. I have used scrolls from papers in different languages to acknowledge his patronage of writers, scribes, poets, and intellectuals. In sculpture, the direction of Ganesha’s trunk has symbolic meaning. If it turns to his left, as it does here, that is the direction for success in this world. It is also a position associated with householders. The crystals used in this shrine are selenite and amethyst. Selenite is a gentle but effective healing tool, useful for shifting negative energies out of one’s life. Amethyst provides positive results to all living beings, and works to calm and counteract negative energies. Perfect energy for this gentle deity.
