Generation to Generation (SOLD)
10” x 10”
This shrine uses Native American iconography to symbolize how this culture places such value and veneration on passing down stories and traditions. The images in the background are copies from a Drew Gardener photo project. Drew compares modern people with their famous forbears to create a pictorial family tree. Shown here are Robert Geronimo, great-grandson of the Chiricahua Apache hero. The Kachina doll is one I found out West while visiting the Lake Powel Navajo reservation.
