Green Tara (SOLD)
Tara is considered to be the most powerful female deity in the Buddhist pantheon. Her name means “star” in Sanskrit, and she guides people on their spiritual paths. She is often seen sitting on a lotus throne, one hand raised in protection, the other extended in a gesture symbolic of granting abundance or compassion. Green Tara’s lotus is usually a blue or night lotus, a flower that releases its fragrance with the appearance of the moon. She is related to the moon and night, fertility, and the growth and nourishment of plants, flowers, and trees.
