Guatemalan Madonna (SOLD)

Made from a re-purposed wine crate, using fabric transfer on discarded muslin from a sewing project and a rusted architectural rosette. The intention behind this shrine was to use recycled materials or objects that might be discarded as trash. Changing the perception to something beautiful. The Madonna is a wood carving made by an artisan in Guatemala.
