Safe Birth and Child Protection Shrine (SOLD)
Plant/Earth element: At the bottom back of the shrine is a lotus leaf; the lotus rises from the mud to blossom. On top of it is a gingko leaf from a tree I planted, painted gold. The gingko symbolizes longevity. I used white roses since they are the recipient’s favorite flower. Tiny succulents accent the flowers.
Water/Animal element: I used seashells to represent these elements, since shells provide safe and beautiful homes for creatures of the sea. I also used a white dove image to presence peace.
Earth/Fire element: I used crystals, forged by fire from the center of the earth. Amethyst produces a magnetic field that provides positive results to all living beings, and it works to calm and counteract negative energies. Leopard jasper is associated with strength and vitality, and encourages harmony and connection with all sentient beings. Rose quartz in the crystal associated with pure love and energy of the heart.
Air/Ethereal: The angel and the North Star represent these elements. The peaceful dove flies through the air. Stars give us guidance and hope, and understanding of worlds beyond our own. Angels protect us on our journey in this realm.
Protection: A native fertility goddess amulet and a handmade evil eye bead are added for additional protection.
