The Truth Will Set You Free (SOLD)

The central figure in this shrine is Sophia. According to the Apocryphon of John, a Gnostic text dating to circa 180, Sophia represents divine wisdom and the female spirit. She is also celebrated in Kabbalah as the female expression of God. In nearly all representations of sacred wisdom aspects of Sophia can be found. I have chosen symbols like the owl (Athena, Greek-wisdom), clear quartz (clarity of thinking), the serpent (associated with Kundalini wisdom), and the scrolls in various languages that are frequently linked with wisdom.
